Lucuma's seed was first planted during conversations between Sofia and her father, Alberto. Usually taking place while enjoying their favorite sweet, Lucuma ice cream.
Sofia enjoyed many Summers in her father's hometown of Lima, Perú, experiencing the rich beauty of the country and it's people. Including, la familia Pinillos.
2019
Lucuma Boutique launches online
2021
Micaela visits Sofia in Arlington, VA during her final year at Mod'Art Perú. She decides to join Lucuma Boutique as the first official team member.
2023
Micaela begins designing an exclusive label in Perú, cofounding Lucuma the Label
2024
Lucuma turns 5, continuing to serve a community of empowered women.
